Variegated Musa Florida Banana

Musa ‘Florida’ Banana is a rare and highly collectible variegated banana plant, admired for its large, paddle-shaped leaves beautifully streaked and marbled with creamy white, pale yellow, and vibrant green variegation. Each new leaf unfurls with its own unique pattern, creating a bold tropical display that becomes increasingly dramatic as the plant matures. Its impressive size and high-contrast foliage make it a true statement plant for collectors.

This variety thrives in very bright light, which helps maintain its beautiful variegation and supports vigorous growth. It prefers warm temperatures, higher humidity, and a rich, well-draining soil mix kept consistently moist but never waterlogged. Because its lighter variegated areas are more sensitive to intense sunlight, gradually acclimate the plant to stronger light to prevent scorching.

• Light: Very bright, indirect light to gentle direct sun (helps maintain strong variegation)
• Water: Keep soil consistently moist but well-drained; do not allow it to remain soggy
• Growth Habit: Fast-growing, upright banana plant with large, variegated tropical foliage
• Pet Note: Generally considered non-toxic and pet-friendly

With its massive tropical leaves and spectacular cream-and-green variegation, Musa ‘Florida’ Banana is a collector’s showpiece—perfect for adding dramatic scale, rare color, and an unmistakable tropical feel to any indoor plant collection.
