Euphorbia Mottled Spurge

🌿 Euphorbia ‘Mottled Spurge’

Euphorbia ‘Mottled Spurge’ is a unique and highly sculptural succulent, admired for its upright, angular growth and distinctive mottled coloration in shades of green, cream, gray, and silvery tones. Its patterned stems create an exotic, almost camouflage-like appearance, while its architectural form gives it the look of a cactus despite belonging to the Euphorbia family. As it matures, branching growth can create an impressive living sculpture.

This Euphorbia thrives in very bright light with some direct sun, which encourages strong, compact growth and helps maintain its distinctive coloration. It prefers a gritty, extremely well-draining cactus or succulent mix and infrequent watering—allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Euphorbias are particularly sensitive to excess moisture, so avoid letting the plant sit in wet soil.

• Light: Very bright light to partial direct sun
• Water: Allow soil to dry completely between waterings; avoid overwatering
• Growth Habit: Upright, branching succulent with angular, mottled stems
• Pet Note: Toxic if ingested; milky sap can irritate skin and eyes—keep away from pets and children

With its distinctive mottled pattern and bold architectural form, Euphorbia ‘Mottled Spurge’ is a collector’s standout—perfect for adding unusual texture, desert character, and sculptural interest to any cactus or succulent collection.
