Euphorbia Grafted Mermaid Tail Pink

Euphorbia ‘Pink Mermaid Tail’—often sold as a Pink Mermaid Tail Cactus—is a rare and highly sculptural succulent, admired for its dramatic crested, fan-shaped growth featuring beautiful shades of blush pink, rosy coral, cream, and green. Although commonly called a cactus, it is actually a Euphorbia. Its unusual wavy crest resembles a mermaid’s tail or colorful underwater coral, with each plant developing its own unique shape and coloration.

This Euphorbia thrives in very bright light with some gentle direct sun, which helps maintain its beautiful pink coloration and compact growth. It prefers a gritty, extremely well-draining cactus or succulent mix and minimal watering—allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Protect it from prolonged intense afternoon sun, which can scorch the lighter pink and cream portions.

• Light: Very bright light with gentle direct sun (helps maintain vibrant pink coloration)
• Water: Allow soil to dry completely between waterings; avoid overwatering
• Growth Habit: Sculptural, crested succulent with wavy, fan-shaped growth
• Pet Note: Toxic if ingested; milky sap can irritate skin and eyes—keep away from pets and children

With its beautiful pink coloration and whimsical mermaid-tail form, Euphorbia ‘Pink Mermaid Tail’ is a collector’s showpiece—perfect for adding bold color, architectural texture, and living-sculpture appeal to any cactus or succulent collection.
