HOW TO WATER:

Soil
For soil use, water by weight.

Lift the planter—the lighter it feels, the more water you add through the sun hole. If it feels very light, fill the reservoir, if it feels somewhat light fill it halfway.

The water should be absorbed within 2–3 days—if it isn’t, pour out the extra. Check weekly, and you’ll quickly settle into a predictable watering rhythm.

Semi-Hydro
When using Naked Root with semi-hydroponics, there’s no dry cycle.

Keep the bottom third of the planter filled with nutrient water, topping off whenever the level drops.

Refresh the reservoir every 2–3 weeks to prevent mineral build-up and do a quick weekly check to top off and wipe the clear walls so the water line stays easy to see.
